    Why use Kellogg's® Rice Krispies®?

As the first crisped rice cereal, Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® has been bringing families together in the kitchen for over 80 years.

To experience the timeless flavor, make your Rice Krispies Treats® squares with the original Rice Krispies® brand cereal.

    Where to buy

1. In 3-quart saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Stir in almond flavoring. Add Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® or All Bran® cereal. Stir until well coated.

2. With back of spoon, press mixture evenly and firmly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle almonds on top (if desired).  Let stand until cool. Cut into 3 x 1 1/2-inch bars.

The first time I ever ate a Krispie square, I was 10 years old. My auntie made them cutting the pan of treat into squares or butter up her hands and roll them into balls. Mmmmm, that buttery taste as well as the chewy marsh mellows and Rice Krispies. Rice Krispies was a favorite cereal on Saturday mornings with honey or sugar and milk. As soon as we poured the milk onto the cereal it was a contest to see who's popped the most and the loudest.
