    Why use Kellogg's® Rice Krispies®?

As the first crisped rice cereal, Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® has been bringing families together in the kitchen for over 80 years.

To experience the timeless flavor, make your Rice Krispies Treats® squares with the original Rice Krispies® brand cereal.

    Where to buy

1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

3. Using 1/2-cup measuring cup coated with cooking spray divide warm cereal mixture into portions. Using buttered hands shape each portion into ball. Push one pretzel piece into each. Cool.

4. In small saucepan combine chocolate morsels and shortening. Cook over low heat until melted, stirring constantly. Dip tops of balls into chocolate. Decorate with sprinkles. Place on wax-paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm. Individually wrap in plastic wrap. Best if served the same day.

These Chocolate Pumpkin Eater Treats™ were a lifesaver when I had to make a snack for my son's Fall Festival at school. He helped me ball up the mixture and cover the bottom of each one with sprinkles. The kids loved their crispy little snacks and all the other moms asked for the recipe!

1. This recipe made a fabulous classroom treat for my daughter's birthday. They were easy to make, and the sweet and salty combination of the Rice Krispies Treats and the pretzels was a huge hit with the kids.

2. I made these treats for my son's preschool class and the kids all loved them. They thought it was fun that they could eat all of it including the stick. Some of his friends took them home to show their moms. I would recommend these to other moms.

3. I was really disappointed with this recipe! These treats did not turn out at all!! I chose this recipe because it seemed fairly simple and to the point...WRONG!! Couldn't get rice krispies to to stick together and form , on top of that the pretzel rod only made things worse. Whoever slapped this recipe together must have done so with the impression that Martha Stewart was going to make these. I hate to be the negative Nancy but I have to be honest.
