    Why use Kellogg's® Rice Krispies®?

As the first crisped rice cereal, Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® has been bringing families together in the kitchen for over 80 years.

To experience the timeless flavor, make your Rice Krispies Treats® squares with the original Rice Krispies® brand cereal.

    Where to buy

1. In shallow dish combine egg whites and water. On large sheet of wax paper combine KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal, paprika, seasoned salt, garlic powder and onion powder.

2. Cut chicken into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Dip chicken pieces into egg white mixture, coating all sides. Roll in cereal mixture. Place in single layer on ungreased baking sheet. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 450°F about 12 mintues or until no longer pink in center.

3. Serve warm with salad dressing as dipping sauce.

*Note: For a different flavor, substitute 1 package (1.25 oz.) reduced-sodium taco seasoning for the paprika, seasoned salt, garlic powder and onion powder.

My Dad was a salesman for Kellogg's beginning in 1951 and ending in 1965. I LOVED having a daddy who sold Kellogg's. I very well remember the first time I tasted Rice Krispies. Daddy was showing me how the small box of cereal also doubled as a bowl by slitting open the perforated back and pouring in milk. I loved the way the cereal crackled and insisted on having my cereal out of the box from then on. Mom made Rice Krispies Treats for my school lunch and it was the first thing Iearned to "bake." I made them for my children and still eat them--only now I buy them already made. Thanks Kellogg's for the chance to share some wonderful memories.

2. A good tip for the rice krispies recipies is to double the amount of marshmallows. I found that with just the reccomended amount of marshmallows they were just too thin to stick together properly., Also, my kids love them if you mix in some whole grain cereals, for an extra bit of flavour and nutrition. Thanks so much fot all the delicious recipies. I have made so many memories thanks to you great website!
